Nintendo Wii console with two remotes and nunchuk
The white motion-control console that turns up in almost every cleared living room. Value is driven by what comes with it: two remotes, nunchuks, sensor bar and power brick roughly double a bare console. Tested, cleaned units with a game or two sell fastest.
Estimated resale range (used)
$40 – $80
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.
What matters when you check it
- Test the disc drive with a game and make sure it loads without grinding or error screens
- Count the remotes, nunchuks, sensor bar and power supply; completeness matters more than cosmetics
- Check the remote battery covers, wrist straps and rubber grips for missing or chewed parts
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
