Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH camera, silver
A small mid-2000s metal-body point and shoot that has come back into demand for its soft, film-like look. Working examples with a clean lens and a battery and charger included do far better than untested ones.
Estimated resale range (used)
$50 – $95
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Power it on and confirm the lens extends and retracts without grinding or a lens error message
- Check the LCD screen for cracks, dead pixels or hazy clouding
- Include the battery, charger and memory card if you have them, since missing chargers knock the price down
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
