Atari 2600 console with two joysticks and power supply
Collectors still buy the woodgrain-era Atari, but only tested units move at a decent price. Complete setups with working joysticks and a power supply are worth considerably more than a bare untested console.
Estimated resale range (used)
$60 – $120
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Test it on a TV with at least one cartridge and confirm the picture is stable
- Check both joysticks for cracked housings and frayed cables at the strain relief
- Confirm the power supply and RF switch or adapter are included and correct for the model
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
