Yeti Tundra 45 cooler

A rotomolded Yeti Tundra 45 holds its value better than almost any other cooler, so a clean used one sells fast. Scuffed plastic is normal; cracks, a warped lid or missing rubber latches cost you real money.

Estimated resale range (used)

$150 – $230

A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it

  • Open and close the lid to check the seal and hinges, and make sure both rubber T-latches are still there
  • Look for cracks or deep gouges in the body, especially around the handles and the lid rim
  • Check inside for stains and smells, and note whether the wire basket and original paperwork come with it

Where the number comes from

Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.

Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
