Wilson A2000 baseball glove, 12 inch

The A2000 is Wilson's long-running pro-level leather glove, so used examples hold money even after a season of play. The model code stamped inside the wrist strap and the shape of the pocket matter more than small cosmetic marks.

Estimated resale range (used)

$70 – $160

A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it

  • Find the model code stamped inside the wrist, such as A2000 1786 or 1787, since infield and outfield patterns sell differently.
  • Look at the lacing and the web for breaks or dried leather, because relacing costs money and buyers discount for it.
  • Check for a name or team written on the leather, since ink is hard to remove and lowers the price.

Where the number comes from

Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.

Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
