Bowflex SelectTech 552 adjustable dumbbells, pair
The dial-adjustable dumbbell pair that replaces a whole rack, popular in home gyms and heavy to move on. Resale is strong because new pairs are expensive and shipping is costly, so local pickup buyers pay well for a complete, working set. Stands and benches add value.
Estimated resale range (used)
$150 – $250
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.
What matters when you check it
- Turn the dial through every weight setting on both dumbbells and confirm the plates lock and release
- Check the plastic plates and cradle bases for cracks, and count that no plates are missing
- Note whether the stands or a bench are included, since they add real money and are often left behind
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
