Wagner Ware cast iron skillet, No. 8
A vintage Wagner Ware No. 8 skillet is a user-grade collector pan that still cooks, so it sells to both cooks and collectors. Flatness and rust decide the price; a warped pan drops to cheap user grade no matter how old it is.
Estimated resale range (used)
$40 – $80
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Set the skillet on a flat counter and press the rim; any wobble or spin means it is warped and worth much less.
- Check the cooking surface and rim for rust pitting, deep scratches, and whether old seasoning is flaking.
- Inspect the handle for cracks or repairs and read the markings on the bottom to confirm the foundry and size.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
