Sunbeam Mixmaster stand mixer, 1970s, with two bowls
The heavy chrome Mixmaster was a wedding-present staple from the 1950s through the 1970s, and the older ones often still run. Buyers want a working machine with both bowls and at least one pair of beaters; missing parts are the main reason one sits unsold.
Estimated resale range (used)
$30 – $70
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Plug it in and run it through every speed, listening for grinding or a speed that will not hold.
- Check that both mixing bowls and at least one pair of beaters are with it - replacements are hard to match.
- Inspect the power cord for cracks and the chrome for pitting or rust spots.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
