Pyrex Town and Country 444 Cinderella mixing bowl

The four-quart Cinderella bowl in Pyrex's brown and orange Town and Country print, a 1960s pattern that collectors still hunt for. It sells well on its own because it is the largest of the nesting set and gets used, so chipped examples still move at a lower price.

Estimated resale range (used)

$28 – $65

A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it

  • Run a finger around the rim and both handles for chips or flea bites; a single chip can halve the price.
  • Turn it over and confirm the 'Pyrex 444' stamp and the 4-quart marking on the base.
  • Check inside for cloudy dishwasher etching and utensil scratches, which are very common on these bowls.

Where the number comes from

Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.

Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
