Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon vinyl LP, Harvest
A perennial best-seller that shows up in nearly every collection, so condition and completeness decide the price. Early pressings with both posters and both triangle stickers still inside are worth several times a bare copy.
Estimated resale range (used)
$25 – $60
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.
What matters when you check it
- Check that both posters and both stickers are still in the sleeve; they are often missing and their presence roughly doubles the value.
- Hold the record up to the light for scratches and scuffs, since this LP is usually well played and clean copies stand out.
- Read the matrix numbers etched in the runout to identify the pressing, as early UK pressings sell for much more than later ones.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
