Patagonia Synchilla fleece jacket, size medium
Patagonia's classic pile fleece, a staple of 1990s outdoor gear that still sells well secondhand. Older made-in-USA examples and unusual colourways draw the most interest from buyers.
Estimated resale range (used)
$35 – $75
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Check the pit zips, chest pocket zips and the snap or button placket; dead zips are a common and visible flaw.
- Look at the cuffs, collar and underarm area for pilling, matting and thin spots in the pile.
- Read the interior tag for size and country of manufacture; older USA-made tags draw more buyers.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
