Nintendo Power magazine back issues, 1990s, lot of 12

A lot of twelve 1990s Nintendo Power magazine back issues, a nostalgic collectible for game fans and a decent flip for people clearing a childhood bedroom. Value depends heavily on which issue numbers are included and whether posters and inserts are still attached.

Estimated resale range (used)

$25 – $65

A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it

  • List the issue numbers and dates, since early issues and specific game-cover issues sell for much more than common later ones.
  • Check whether pull-out posters, cards and inserts are still attached; missing inserts lower value for collector buyers.
  • Look for water damage, torn covers, mailing labels and heavy page yellowing, which matter more than small spine wear.

Where the number comes from

Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.

Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
