Harry Potter hardcover set, books 1-7, Scholastic American edition
A complete seven-book hardcover Harry Potter run is one of the few modern book sets that still moves reliably on marketplace sites. The early volumes in good jackets carry most of the value, and a matching set with clean dust jackets sells far faster than pieced-together singles.
Estimated resale range (used)

A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Confirm all seven titles are present and note whether the jackets are the American Scholastic editions with Mary GrandPré art.
- Check the dust jackets for tears, price-clipping, and sun fading on the spines, which is common on the later thick volumes.
- Look for writing, stamps, or water damage inside; a clean set sells at the top of the range.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
