Fleetwood Mac Rumours vinyl LP, 1977 Warner Bros
One of the best-selling albums ever pressed, so it turns up in almost every record stash and is easy to sell. Common copies still move at modest prices, and clean vinyl with a complete sleeve and inner lyric sheet does best.
Estimated resale range (used)
$18 – $35
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.
What matters when you check it
- Check for deep scratches and warps under strong light; light surface scuffs usually still play fine.
- Confirm the sleeve, printed inner lyric sheet and any insert are present and not split at the seams.
- Match the label and the matrix numbers in the dead wax, since early and club pressings price differently.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
