Fjallraven Kanken backpack, 16 liter
The boxy Swedish daypack that turns up in closets in almost every colour and sells quickly if it is clean. Faded fabric and missing parts cost more than small marks, since the shape and the logo patch do most of the selling.
Estimated resale range (used)
$40 – $70
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Check the main zipper and the small front pocket zip for snags or missing pulls
- Confirm the round logo patch is intact and the reflective logo on the back is not peeling off
- Look for dark stains or fading on the vinylon fabric, especially on the base and shoulder straps
- Note whether the seat pad and rain cover are still in the back pocket
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
