Eagles Hotel California vinyl LP, Asylum
A permanent fixture of American record collections and a consistent seller, though it was pressed in huge numbers, so supply is endless. Buyers pay for clean vinyl and an intact gatefold cover more than for the title itself.
Estimated resale range (used)
$10 – $25
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.

What matters when you check it
- Inspect both sides for scratches, especially the opening track, and check for warping by sighting along the edge
- Look at the gatefold cover for split seams, bent corners, and poster or insert if the copy originally came with one
- Check the label for the Asylum logo and matrix numbers so you can describe the exact pressing
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
