45 RPM vinyl singles, lot of 50, 1960s-70s pop
A shoebox of seven-inch singles is standard attic fare. Most are common titles worth a dollar or two each, so the lot sells as a bulk box to a dealer or jukebox collector rather than as individual records.
Estimated resale range (used)
$15 – $45
A ballpark, not a quote. Condition moves this number a lot, and so does who turns up to buy it. It isn't an appraisal and it isn't a dealer's offer.
What matters when you check it
- Flip through for picture sleeves, which are often worth more than the record inside them.
- Separate anything on a small independent label or with a promo stamp — those are the ones worth checking individually.
- Note condition overall: crackles, warps, chipped edges and missing centre pieces all drop the price.
Where the number comes from
Watching what these go for, not a record of sales. The range is a judgement call from what the same thing fetches secondhand. When an item has real sources behind it, they'll be printed here with the date they were checked.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
